YOUR CAPTAIN. YOUR CHOICE. MADE SIMPLE
Every standard Kokomo day charter requires a qualified independent captain, and you make the selection through HireYourCaptain.com. After reserving your yacht, you will receive a separate email from HireYourCaptain.com with captain options for your yacht and charter time. If you want to keep it simple, see who is available, review their ratings, and click Select. Want to know more first? Review captain profiles, view additional captain options, or contact a captain directly before making your choice. Once you confirm your selection, Hire Your Captain sends the confirmation directly to both you and your captain.
* Independent captain selection applies to standard day-charter bareboat yachts. Full-service products include captain and crew as described in the applicable booking.

Your charter must be operated by an independent USCG-licensed captain. As the primary charterer, you select and engage the captain (and crew where applicable) and retain authority over them for the duration of the charter. Kokomo Charters will provide a list of independent captains who have been vetted and approved by the vessel owners and their insurers. You may also propose your own captain, subject to owner and insurer approval. Fuel usage, dockage, gratuities, and provisions are calculated based on actual consumption and itinerary.
